Lost in the 50's car parade

This past weekend we ventured up to Sandpoint for the Lost in the 50's car show. I love Sandpoint! I moved there when I was about 9 years old and lived there up until nearly 7 years ago. It was fun to see old friends in the parade showing off their fancy cars. We even saw Shari French from Southern Charm in the parade.

This one is my favorite... only because it's pink!

I was up in Sandpoint on Friday afternoon for the first time since I found out we were moving there and I thought, "This place is crazy busy!" I was thinking that I didn't want to move there after all with all that traffic, but I came to find out why... I didn't get to stick around for the 50's, but next year I will for sure. I did have some great pie at The Pie Hut!

We love the vintage car shows! Loving the aqua and white convertible, so cute, reminds me of a bathtub:) We hope to be a vendor at the Bloom and Garden Show too!
Looking forward to seeing you at Farm Chicks. Glad & Celia/Junebug

HI girlies!
Did you like how we were screaming our little heads off in the parade? My friend was visiting from Aspen on a book tour, and she's never seen anything like this!! We had fun...the car belongs to a customer of mine at Jalapeno's...I've lived here for 18 years and this was my first time IN the parade! lol...xoshari

Yeah, that pink one is pretty cool! It's a cute color, but on a car, it has a certain swagger added to it. The rest are pretty stylish as well, and it's great to see them parade around once in a while. It must be quite nostalgic for some of the older owners of those cars...

Now that's pretty nostalgic. The cars being kept in such good condition helps give the image that this is some sort of scene from the past, you know? They look so good, reflecting a generation decades ago.

That car on the second photo is neat! Well, cars from the 50's have that certain look that is just appealing. Ahh, these cars remind me of those old school Hollywood films.

I love parades too! But, seeing those vintage Cadillac GMCs turned me into a super fanatic of car parades! It’s the ‘feel’ that vintage cars give to onlookers, that desire to drive those cars themselves. Tell me, who wouldn’t want to drive one of those lovelies?
