Snow Babies

The snow babies have arrived! I finished these up late last night so I could take them to
This Old House today, where they now reside. When I went into my sewing room this morning they each greeted me with a big, happy smile. I had a nice talk with them and told them where I was taking them and they would be okay. I have so much fun making these snow babies. I put so much time and thought into them wanting each to be an individual and have a personality of their own. They become a part of me and I almost hate to let them go, but I know someone will adopt them and give them a good home. I have more heads sitting on my table waiting for a body and of course a little glitter thrown in. So, more snow babies will be born shortly and they will be making an appearance at the Two Women Christmas show, which is December 4th and 5th at the Moran Prairie Grange. The snow babies would love to see you there!!

Vintage Finds in Nine Mile

The attendees at the Vintage Market were taken away for a time as they set their eyes on all of the vintage goodness at the show. So much to see, you had to go around at least twice.

Out and About

We went to Greenbluff last weekend and look what we found...some pumpkin heads standing in the pumpkin patch! Maybe they were waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear, I just don't know. You know some people will do silly and crazy things to get their picture on someone's blog.

Oh, let's not forget the pumpkin doughnuts. Warm and fresh, cinnamon and sugar coated pumpkin doughnuts. We stood in line for....awhile, but worth it. YUM!!

The pictures below are from The Mad Hatter's Flea Market we went to recently. It is held in the Five Mile Grange, which is not a very big building, but it was packed floor to ceiling with more treasures than the eye can behold. There was so much to see, to fall in love with and adore. Gladys and Celia always put on a great show with wonderful vendors.

Until next time. Bonjour, my sweets!
